The Last Day at IBC2026

A few visitors also caught an early look at something we haven't announced yet — PlanckOne FoleyAR.

IBC2026 wrapped this week in Amsterdam, where PlanckOne FoleyAI partnered with Atomos for the show — four days of demos at the Atomos stand, hallway conversations, and a steady run of visitors curious what generated Foley actually sounds like.

It was our first IBC in partnership with Atomos, and we loved the response. The demo drew a steady flow of visitors across all four days.

What people wanted to see

Most visitors did not want a slide. They wanted the picture, the generated track, and the chance to hear the difference for themselves — so the demo stayed hands-on all week: headphones on the counter, a real cut playing, and the layered Foley track audible against it in real time.

Conversations that mattered

The pitch is the easy part of a show like this. The useful part is standing at a counter with someone who edits sound for a living and just listening to what they notice first.

“The best part of a show isn't the pitch, it's the fifth conversation of the day, when someone stops treating it like a demo and starts treating it like a colleague's honest opinion. That's when you actually learn something.”

Thank you, Atomos

Thank you to Atomos, and to Peter Barber, for a great four days at the Atomos stand — the desk space, the power, the screen time, and the company. It was a pleasure sharing the floor with a team building tools we genuinely admire, and every conversation was better for it.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the stand, tried the demo, and told us what they thought. Till next time at our next event — we'll keep you posted on what's next.
